Laser Dentistry

Patients love our use of laser technology as it can provide a fast and comfortable dental experience.

Offering Ways to Provide Precise, Fast, and Painless Dental Procedures

Types of Dental Lasers

There are two types of dental lasers; the soft tissue lasers are used to treat the tissues of the mouth. Hard tissue lasers are used to prepare teeth for fillings. The type of dental laser for your treatment is determined by our dental team prior to treatment.

We are pleased to offer laser dentistry for patients in South Calgary to perform a wide variety of dental treatments.

Benefits of Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry has been used since 1990. The use of lasers in dentistry is very safe and may be used in a variety of treatments.

The benefits of laser dentistry include:

  • Faster healing time with tissue regeneration

  • Reduced bleeding both during and after treatment

  • Reduce and potentially eliminate the need for anesthesia

  • Lower chance for bacterial infections after procedures
