Regular dental examinations are very important for every member of your family! New dental patients receive a thorough examination with either Dr. Alina Drosu or Dr. Nyja Thordarson. They will check for the early signs of gum disease, eroded fillings, TMJ concerns, tooth decay, oral cancer screening, as well as problems with your occlusion (bite). You may also want to discuss how they can enhance your smile as we have many options for you to consider!
Please bring your insurance information, including information on your plan details. We will do our best to help you understand your coverage information including your annual and lifetime maximums and whether your plan allows for the assignment of benefits.
Your health and safety are important to us. We will collect a detailed health history from you in order to determine if there are any risks for treatment. In addition, please bring a list of medications you may be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medications to your visit.
If you have x-rays’ from a previous dentist, you can have them released to our office. We will ask you to sign a release form in order for us to obtain them under the Health Information Act of Alberta.
